Description

bpha has a justifiably strong reputation in the social housing sector, with a turnover of £171m, managing over 20,000 homes and employing over 550 people. We operate across the region between Cambridge and Oxford, with many of our activities centred around Bedford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge.

We have a reputation for delivering high quality, value for money services for customers and developing energy-efficient, sustainable, and affordable housing which is fit for the future.

We are also clear in our ambition to help build communities where people can live happily in a home they can afford. This is a vital, rewarding and challenging agenda and as we continue our Board succession, we are looking for new Non-Executive Directors to help build on these strong foundations.

A skilled, diverse and informed Board is critical to our success. As we enter a new cycle in our corporate planning, we are looking for two new Non-Executive Directors to bring specific experience in consumer engagement and development, asset management/regeneration as well as the required leadership skills and emotional intelligence to contribute to a strong Board and Executive Team.

If you are a senior leader with Non-Executive experience and an understanding of the importance of providing and maintaining good quality homes for customers, we want to hear from you. Already operating at Board level, ideally with experience of chairing or facilitating a Board Committee/similar senior group, you will bring insight and knowledge together with the business acumen, political awareness and consumer perspectives to influence the full corporate agenda. Naturally you will be adept at reviewing financial and operational performance, while isolating areas for discussion and challenge and ensuring the customer voice is represented.

We always look to be progressive in our approach and are excited by the opportunities ahead. If you would like to become a significant part of bpha and help us shape and deliver our vision, we would like to hear from you. For further information about the specific requirements for both Non-Executive roles and to apply, please visit with join-bpha.co.uk. For a confidential discussion, contact our advising consultant at GatenbySanderson, Sandra Jones on 07826 404091, Simon Wing on 07809 195 628 or Ellie Masters-Gregory on 07867 455 223.
